Peacemaking In the Community

Peacemaking in the Community

Peacemaking in the community can be a powerful ministry for churches.   Too often “church” is something that happens only inside of a building and we forget that we are called to create peace among the people in our midst.

This section lifts up examples of United Methodist individuals and churches who are taking peacemaking seriously in their community.  We hope that these examples, resources, and stories will help to inspire other United Methodists to become more deeply committed to creating a culture of peace in their community.
