General Board of Global Ministries

The General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church organizes and directs missions work for the denomination.

There are many parts of GBGM involved with peacemaking.

One of the four goals of GBGM is “Seek Justice, Freedom and Peace”.   To meet this goal, GBGM participates with people oppressed by unjust economic, political and social systems in programs that seek to build just, free and peaceful societies.
