Service bridges Muslim, Christian faiths
Sept 13, 2010 – DeMoines Register. A century-old Des Moines church in the midst of a building restoration served as a place to build relations between Muslims and Christians on Sunday. A service of “Reconciliation and Love” was held at Trinity United Methodist Church, at the southwest corner of Eighth Street and College Avenue in the River Bend neighborhood.

Invictus – The Sequel
As my heart was being warmed by this generous movie, with its superb performances by Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon, I remembered the second half of this drama, which played out in South Africa in 1997 and 1998. This was an equally important occasion, but much harder to film for Hollywood.

Forgiveness Can Come When We Acknowledge Our Mistakes
I enjoy almost all competitive sports. I am an avid spectator and a once-upon-a-time participant. Athletics can be good for you. Playing sports is good physical exercise. There are a lot of lessons to learn even if you just watch.
