Shaping the Vision

The vision of JustPeace is “to foster a culture of JustPeace in every part of the world where United Methodist people are located and the mission advanced.  Specifically that United Methodist leaders will become self conscious signs of the JustPeace way – a faith focused way of engaging conflict that leads to justice and reconciliation.”

From the beginning, JustPeace has seen our work as deeply spiritual, bringing together theology, theory and practice.   The vision first came together in a laminated card, and then a pamphlet called Engage Conflict Well, and now a book to be published in July of 2010, The Spirit and Art of Conflict Transformation:  Creating a Culture of JustPeace.
