Adam Bray: Bio

- Director of Administration, JustPeace
Adam Bray is the latest staff member to join JustPeace. He comes to us with close to ten years of experience working in various United Methodist agencies and ecumenical organizations. He also has a masters degree in Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary where he studied Christian Ethics. His love and passion for theology, peace & justice issues, and the life of the Church was first formed while studying the Civil Rights Movement as a sociology major at The University of Mary Washington. Since then he has worked at the General Board of Church and Society of the UMC, served two years as a United Methodist US-2 missionary, worked in the Eco-Justice Program of the National Council of Churches, and organized religious leaders for Interfaith Worker Justice.
Adam feels happy and blessed to find a home at JustPeace. He loves the work and focus of the organization and is especially excited about its potential to grow and expand. A particular point of interest for Adam is to help improve the web presence of JustPeace and to broaden its outreach efforts to effectively reach United Methodist youth and young adults.
