On Friday, 10/23 Dr. Luther E. Smith, Jr will be joining JustPeace in Atlanta for a luncheon conversation entitled Honoring Faith, Identity, and Community. This conversation will be part of a 2.5 day training, Leading Congregations Through Anxious Times.
“We’re thrilled that Luther Smith will be joining us. He has been a beloved mentor to many and lives out the calling of Christ to be a just reconciler with grace, compassion and deep wisdom,” says Stephanie Anna Hixon, Executive Director of JustPeace
Dr. Smith, Professor Emeritus of Church and Community at Candler School of Theology, has written numerous articles and speaks extensively on issues of church and society, congregational renewal, Christian spirituality, and the thought of Howard Thurman.
